When we were contacted by England Rugby legend Tom Palmer with a view to highlighting a luxury auction to help one of his closest friends, we were more than happy to spread the word (The guy is a personal hero!).
Tom`s friend, Greg Patience, has an incurable brain tumour condition. The luxury auction is to raise funds for treatment in Germany which will extend Greg`s life expectancy and offer financial stability to his family.
Reading the web site, Greg Patience is clearly a good guy with bags of enthusiasm and humour despite everything. The auction itself is as impressive.
Currently on auction are 2 x Centre Court Wimbledon tickets with the main auctions starting in August.
Highlights from the auction include an extremely rare Methuselah of Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage 2000, a week holiday at Karma Kandara resort in Bali, Rugby coaching (for your club) with England International`s James Haskell and Tom Palmer, Napa Valley (California) Winery tour for four and a Roberto Cavalli dress.
There are also other luxury travel options available including Australia, Bavarian Alps, Scotland and Montana. A Landrover off road experience for three is one of the many `Experiences` lots.
Also due to be auctioned in August are a range of signed shirts from the Football and Rugby world.
The lots have been divided into six categories – Sport, Health and Wellbeing, Travel, Food and Drink, Experiences and Fashion.
You have to check out this huge range of luxury auctions, you can see the full list of lots HERE.. Bidding would mean you may secure a very special luxury item at the same time helping Greg Patience and his family. Personally, I`m torn between the very large bottle of Champers or a training session with two Rugby legends.
