Following staggering success in Versailles and New York, this year 45 Relais & Cháteaux Grands Chefs from all over the world will descend upon the City of London to celebrate the very best of British produce. The charitable dinner will be themed `The World`s Kitchen by the Thames`, with proceeds going to humanitarian aid organisation Action Against Hunger.

If you were not aware, Relais & Cháteaux is an exclusive collection of more than 520 of the finest hotels and gourmet restaurants in 60 countries and from personal experience, the hotels are a breed apart.

Taking place in the heart of the city at Old Billingsgate Market, the dinner will see 600 guests take part in a once-in-a-lifetime gastronomic journey.

There will be fifteen different, personal and never seen before menus, paired with the finest vintage Pommery Champagne. Prepared within the great hall as a live performance, the dinner will be pure gastronomic theatre that will offer every attendee a totally unique and surprising experience.

The evening will also feature a live and silent auction set to thrill foodies and connoisseurs of all tastes, raising funds for Relais & Cháteaux`s chosen charity, Action Against Hunger, a cause close to the Grand Chefs` hearts.

The UK chef contingent will be led by Raymond Blanc and Gary Jones (Le Manoir aux Quat` Saisons), Andrew Fairlie (Restaurant Andrew Fairlie) and Claude Bosi (Hibiscus), who will set the tempo for the tribe of Grands Chefs to once again surprise and enchant with their take on `food Britannia` inspired by the spirit of London. Other talents from further afar include Patrick O`Connell (The Inn at Little Washington, USA), Emmanuel Renaut (Flocons de Sel, France) and Lanshu Chen (Le Moǟ¶¯t Restaurant, Taiwan).

Grand Chef Raymond Blanc remarks, `Relais & Chateaux has chosen London to celebrate the extraordinary changes which have taken place in British gastronomy. The quality of produce and dedication to responsible luxury has seen London establish itself as a world gastronomical destination where chefs` creations mirror its multicultural heart. Having worked in Great Britain for the past 30 years, I have always celebrated this as well as Relais & Cháteaux`s values of L`Art de Vivre and respect for biodiversity and the environment.`
