At Lussorian, we are big fans of Piper-Heidsieck. Constantly awarded, the brand is one of the World`s favourite Champagnes, with famous fans galore – Marie Antoinette and Marilyn Monroe come to mind.

Founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck, this champagne house remain current and the release of the Bodyguard Rose Sauvage only confirms this.

If you are looking for perfect Champagne for Valentine`s Day, the supreme taste and luxurious exterior of this bottle makes an obvious choice.

The Rose Sauvage Champagne is made from the same award winning blend as Piper Brut NV but with added red wines from the Cote des Bar which gives the most gorgeous colour and adds to the taste with a more fruity and rich flavour.

But the bottle bodyguard needs a huge mention too. The limited edition bodyguard is pink crocodile-like skin that is a perfect replica of a crocodile`s scales, created using the latest thermoplastic elastomer technology.

First, a Nile crocodile was scanned for twelve days and nights, and then the image was laser printed onto a steel mould, which was then filled with molten latex. This skin keeps champagne cooler for longer.

Great tasting Champagne at great value presented in such a way is surely perfect Champagne for Valentine`s Day.

Available at Selfridges and Harrods or from the Whiskey Exchange site for a stunning £39.95.
