Launched last Thursday by Sienna Miller, Grosvenor House, A JW Marriot Hotel is showcasing the debut of a new London Beatles exhibition – The Beatles Illuminated: The Discovered Works of Mike Mitchell.
A sale comprised of 50 lots of unpublished and never-before-seen photographs of the Beatles` first hysteria-inducing visits to America in 1964 The exhibition is another culmination of the partnership between Christie`s and JW Marriott Hotels.
Shot in black and white by photographer Mike Mitchell when he was just 18 years old, the images have been filed away for nearly fifty years.
The collection will be open to the public, free of charge, at an exhibition at the hotel between 17th June and 25th June. The images will then be offered at auction in New York on 20th July.
