If you are looking for luxury holiday apartments in Venice, I think we may have just found them for you. This is luxury on a grand scale.
Villa Residenza is a 16th century villa on Venice’s Guidecca, which has the city’s largest garden and uninterrupted views of San Marco and San Salute. The large villa has been converted into eleven palatial apartments, which are new to the rental market and offered exclusively by SJ Villas in the UK.
The Villa was originally the residence of a number of Venetian noble families and in the early part of the 20th century became a famous guesthouse, Casa Frollo, which hosted painters, writers and intellectuals among its guests.
Now the only luxury residence with full hotel service in Venice, the apartments and loft-like suites are filled with antiques and textiles from the region and each has its own Brummel kitchen and stocked wine cabinet.
Original frescos cover the walls and ceilings and the apartments have Italian wood and Venetian ‘Terrazzo’ floors, bespoke pure linen and silk fabrics and oversized stone baths with power showers.
The luxury holiday apartments in Venice are steps away from the Bauer Palladio Hotel & Spa and guests can use their private boat to cross the canal and dine at the Bauer’s De Pisis restaurant. The apartments are fully serviced by staff from the hotel and guests can use all the facilities of the Palladio Hotel, including the spa.
The apartments vary in size starting from a one bedroom apartment sleeping two people. Several apartments of Villa Residenza can be interconnected to provide larger spaces for families or groups of friends. La Residenza can also be booked as a whole house, sleeping up to 38 people.
