Easter is just around the corner and that means an opportunity to indulge in a cheeky tipple or two over an extended bank holiday weekend. That’s why we have come up with a quick guide to the very best offerings for Easter 2017. Are you are looking for a new powerful gin or a tasty vodka? Or do you crave an exciting new wine to try or cocktails for the home? If so, you will find it all here. Chin up!

Sipsmith VJOP (£39.75)

This gin really packs a punch and is the ultimate treat for juniper lovers! Sipsmith VJOP (‘Very Junipery Over Proof Gin’) is big and bold, with triple the amount of juniper berries to Sipsmith London Dry Gin and a matched rise in ABV to 57.7%. It is always impressive when a drink manages to treat your taste buds while also almost blowing your socks off, this one certainly does that!

Super smooth, yet boasting huge juniper flavours, spice and dark chocolate notes, this is delicious gin for the connoisseur and novice alike. Makes a sublime G & T, therefore making it ideal to sip on an Easter bank holiday weekend. Available from 31Dover.

V GALLERY COFFEE VODKA (£15.95)

V Gallery’s Coffee Vodka is a delicious IWSC Gold Award-winning vodka liqueur with a smooth, sweet roasted coffee kick. A lot of flavoured vodkas fail to pull off the trick of actually tasting like they claim; however, this one really does give a great kick of coffee.

A new addition to V Gallery’s delicious range of flavoured vodkas, the Coffee Vodka is distilled five times to create a slightly creamy, bitter-sweet coffee bean taste with notes of dark chocolate. It is suggested that this is sensational served chilled and sipped neat, and a great addition to Espresso Martini cocktails. A great contender to the run of the mill Vodkas you would usually find on the shelves and an elegant one in its aesthetics too! Find out more here.

Bolney Wine Estate Bacchus, 2015 (£16.99)

Bolney Wine Estate is one of the longest established English vineyards and they have been making award winning English wines for over 35 years. They claim to have soils “perfect for growing vines”!

This white is a stunning surprise and a delight in sunnier weather. This grape variety could well be known as the Sauvignon Blanc of England! A fragrant wine with aromas of capsicum and gooseberry, which blend perfectly with the fresh fruit flavours in the palate and sometimes a hint of spice on the finish.

Bolney Blancs de Blancs (£26.99)

This stylish, 100% Chardonnay vintage sparkler is made in the traditional method with 2 and a half years lees ageing for added depth of flavour. Smooth and full-bodied, this wine has delicious yeasty undertones complemented by fresh citrus notes.

Serving suggestion. Great as an aperitif – its effervescence stimulates the palate – as well as being an ideal partner for food. Quite delicious on its own, it would go well with potted shrimps or seafood in general, poultry and strong cheeses.
