Luxury British pushchair brand iCandy launches their first designer bag range

iCandy is a British family business that dates back to the early 1930’s, a luxury British pushchair brand that will be celebrating 80 years this September.

iCandy designs have always centered around functionality and British fashion and the brand are looking to build on that with the launch of their new bag collection, created by ex-Mulberry designer Janet Collin no less.

The bag collection aims to bridge the gap between functionality and style for the modern working mother and will be revealed at the iCandy 80th anniversary celebrations held at the very swanky One Marylebone, London, on 10th September.

Showcasing the very best in cutting edge design within the nursery sector with a fashion focused catwalk show revealing not only the new bag collection, but also the stunning 2014 collections, the night promises to be both glamorous and insightful. Guests of the evening will include press, friends of the brand and a host of VIPs including mother-of-one Emilia Fox.

The evening will also see the official announcement of The Lullaby Trust and iCandy charity partnership, both through the event and sales of the bag collection – seeing a generous £10 of every charity handbag sold donated to The Lullaby Trust.

The Lullaby Trust provides specialist support for bereaved families and anyone affected by a sudden infant death, as well as educating parents on how best to keep their babies safe during sleep.

iCandy owners (and brothers) Warren and Bradley say: `we are extremely excited to be celebrating this significant milestone through our London birthday party, and we are greatly looking forward to what the next few years will entail for iCandy. With the launch of our new 2014 collections and showcase of our first ever bag range; we feel we have lots to celebrate this September.`
