Leica announces Ultravid 8×32 ‘Edition Zagato’

Unique collaboration with Italian automotive Atelier

Leica Camera AG, an internationally operating, premium-segment manufacturer of cameras has unveiled the Leica Ultravid 8×32 ‘Edition Zagato – A new limited edition set of binoculars. Created in collaboration with Zagato, the Italian automotive Atelier and Total Design Center famous for having been the first in the automotive industry to apply advanced, lightweight aviation technology to design more aerodynamic car bodies.

You could be one of 1,000 people to own a the Leica Ultravid 8×32 ‘Edition Zagato’ with only 1,000 of these meticulously crafted binoculars available globally. Featuring an aluminium outer shell, with hundreds of fine grooved milled carefully with precision into the surface – thereby resulting in exceptional styling and a unique, tactile finish, and to finish off the impeccable design the front lenses are adorned with two red anodised rings inscribed with ‘Zagato’.

For your convenience the binoculars also come with a stunning case designed by Zagato that elegantly compliments and protects the binoculars featuring a matching carrying strap and hand strap – all in exquisite Italian leather.

The Leica Ultravid 8×32 ‘Edition Zagato’ is scheduled to be available in the UK from September 2015 from selected Leica stockists, at a suggested retail price of £2,465 including VAT.
