Chivas Regal by Dame Vivienne Westwood

Lussorian was lucky enough to attend the wonderful Vivienne Westwood show at London’s Royal Courts of Justice on Sunday evening. In her latest collection Dame Westwood demonstrated all the verve and flashes of colour that have been her trademark during an illustrious career.

Discreet references to royalty, Britishness and trademark punk were skillfully threaded throughout. These were offset by voluminous hair, often weaved into crowns and bold flashes of make up oozing into a spectrum of colour.

Outsized bowlers, tartan and this seasons slightly more fitted outfits also made appearances. Boris Becker, looking on from the front row nodded agreeably at this outsized bowler in particular…

After the show Dame Vivienne went on to unveil a long awaited collaborative effort with iconic whisky brand Chivas Regal at a privately hosted dinner including the likes of Tracey Emin and supermodel Tolula Adeyemi. A very pleasant affair, where the delightfully fruity Chivas cocktails engendered a real sense of lubrication !!

This collaboration follows on from the stunningly intricate Lacroix bottle we reviewed last year.

Again, the transformation is of the Chivas 18 Year Old whisky on a limited edition release – which will undoubtedly fly out of the door.
