Chivas Regal and Alexander McQueen

Chivas Regal has recently revealed a bold new creation by partnering with world renowned British designer Alexander McQueen. The Chivas Regal 18 Year Old limited edition celebrates it’s luxury roots whilst celebrating the uniqueness of McQueen`s style.

McQueen has dressed Chivas Regal 18 Year Old in quirky blue leather finery which “reflects the nobility of the product – rich blue is also the colour of ancient queens and kings”. The bottle includes a handcrafted enamelled gold cap paying tribute to the Royal Warrant granted to Chivas Regal in 1843 by Queen Victoria.

This exclusive product has 5 bottles left from an original 12 supplied exclusively to Selfridges in London. The UK retail price is £420 ($800 approx).

I have a hunch that McQueen’s touches might just make this a collectable – particularly as the global allocation was just 1500 bottles.
