Our stay at The Pullman Liverpool Hotel

On a recent trip to Liverpool with a friend, we were delighted to be invited to stay here. The Pullman was easy walking distance from the bus station and we spotted it immediately thanks to the yellow strip at the top of the building. We were surprised at how close it was to the Echo Arena and the Wheel of Liverpool!

On entering the hotel there was an aura of sophistication, relaxation and total calmness. The staff greeted us professionally and were extremely helpful and welcoming.  Check-in was done with ease and in no time, we were making our up to our 6th floor room with a view!

The Room!

Plush – yes, I adore the bedrooms in The Pullman. The first thing you see when entering in the large window framing the most amazing view of Liverpool Kings Dock. I honestly didn’t look at anything else for quite some time! After finally tearing my eyes away from the window, I was impressed with our room.

Comfortable, decorated and furnished to a high standard, full length window sofa, plenty of storage and with extremely comfortable beds, this bedroom did not disappoint in the slightest.

What else has The Pullman got to offer?

There are 216 bedrooms which all feature complimentary 5G wi-fi, a 55” TV with access to Sky and BT Sports. The hotel also offers a floor of executive rooms with exclusive lounge access. Black out curtains are available in all rooms as are the luxury Co. Bigalow toiletries.

Parking is available in a well-lit car park. The Pullman Fitness Lounge offers the latest-generation cardio and weight-lifting equipment – you can easily keep in shape whist staying here! Available equipment includes the treadmill, exercise bikes, fitness equipment, cardio vascular equipment and training machines.

Duke’s Bar

After a long day walking about Liverpool, seeing all the fascinating sites and visiting museums, it was so lovely to come back to a peaceful atmosphere where we could do nothing but relax. The bar area has a very chilled ambience, and I thoroughly enjoyed sipping my Gin & Tonic whilst watching the world go by.

My Verdict

Would I recommend staying at The Pullman Liverpool Hotel? Most definitely yes!! Perfect location, close to all amenities, walking distance to the city centre, relaxing and modern environment – what’s not to like! I would, without a doubt stay here again, whether it be for business or pleasure.
