If you are like me you’ll love sailing when it suits you but can’t be bothered with the mooring fees, maintenance or cleaning the bloody thing after a day on the high seas.
SailTime is the answer! For a fraction of the cost of buying a boat you can own a share in one. A monthly membership fee from £400 allows you all the sailing you want, all booked through a central website reservation system. You will have a minimum of seven sailing times which you can schedule yourself for weekend, weekday, evening or week-long sailing. Working in a similar way to a timeshare, this option is certainly one of the most sensible around if you love sailing but are short of time and funds.
