German kitchen manufacturer Poggenpohl has just launched its latest designer Dining Desk. It’s unique for a number of reasons, firstly it looks damn good and secondly, it’s designed to be ‘parted’ and allow for two serving trolleys to fit perfectly.

So… you don’t even have to scold your hands or narrowly miss burning people’s ears when carrying hot dishes to the table. Simply place everything you need on the trolleys and wheel them in!

The tables themselves are available with manual or remote controlled electrical operation, seat either six or eight, and are either 2000mm or 2500mm long x 1000mm wide. They are crafted with a variety of nicely finished granites and marbles, as well as a selection of rather tastefully grained and structured fine veneers.

It sells for around £10,000 and is available from selected Poggenpohl Design Studios.
