Here’s a fascinating list of bands you can hire for your private enjoyments and how much they cost. The Eagles are the current record breakers having performed ‘Hotel California’ at a private party in New York for a massive £4,000,000 back in 2003!

In second place we see old ‘Rubber Lips’ Jagger and the Stones perform for £3.5m for Texas tycoon David Bonderman in Las Vegas in 2002. They made almost £60,000 a minute!

Celine Dion (£2.5 million) for private performance twice or thrice a year and Elton John, (£2 million), who sang at the wedding of London pub supremo Peter Shalson in 2002, secured third and fourth places respectively, reports the Daily Mail.

Christina Aguilera, who performed at wedding of Russian banker and industrialist Andrei Melnichenko to Miss Yugoslavia, Aleksandra Kokotovic in 2005 for £1.8 million, rounded off the tip five, at the fifth spot.
