The Chronoris GP (Grand Prix) 70
The Chronoris GP (Grand Prix) 70 was recently launched at Basel Fair. Sleek in appearance, this watch is every guy’s dream and is a definite must have for Grand Prix fans. Sporting modern features just like a current F1 car, the Oris designers looked to the 1970’s for inspiration for the new Chronoris Grand Prix 70 Limited Edition watch.
A few features remain such as the tachymeter scale on the dial ring, the chronograph function and the date display, although this version has a lot more power! It has a new movement with a small second and hour counter, a larger case of 42.50mm, 2 chronograph displays on the dial – including a ten minute countdown which is in British Racing Green, and also a second time zone symbolised by the arrow hand.
Limited edition engraving from 0001 to 1970 appears on the side of the case at 6 o’clock and the flashy watch also comes with a presentation box set with retro style racing drivers’ gloves.
With racing style of the 1970’s the Chronoris GP 70 is priced at £2, 280.
