Launching this November is Run Personal from Technogym!  This slick looking running machine is definitely one for the gym enthusiasts.  It combines striking design with the most cutting-edge running technology and features include a 19” TV screen with iPod/iPhone connection allowing you as the user to watch your multimedia contents directly on the screen via a USB media port.  I think that would make running a little bit more enjoyable don’t you think?

Designed by internationally renowned Antonio Citterio the Run Personal is the first piece of fitness equipment to incorporate both glass and aluminium.  The glass is used for the display which offers a greater level of transparency compared to the plastic layer which is normally used, whilst the ergonomic polished aluminium allows Run Personal to be both extremely hard-wearing and rather chic.  It is also fitted with a sophisticated software control system allowing speeds between 0.8 km/h (the lowest in the market) and 18 km/h so you’ll be able to do a great varied workout.

The technology for the Run Personal has been collected over a period of 25 years by training more than 20 million people around the world every week, including the world’s top athletes in the last 4 Olympic Games.  Knowing this, I’m sure you’ll get your monies worth out of this state of the art gym equipment.

Run Personal also features games to train your mind while you are training your body, The Running Deck ensures the right balance between responsiveness and softness to maximise your running performance and comfort and is also easy to use and interacts with your personal trainer thanks to the Wellness System.  The Technogym software platform allows you to save your favourite workout programme onto a portable smart key.  What more could you want?

Available in November 2009 from Technogym directly or at Harrods.
