Goldsmiths have produced a rather stunning engagement ring….Hey! I have seen this one before!

With its oval blue sapphire surrounded by a cluster of 14 diamonds, Goldsmiths have created a replica of the ring Prince William has given Kate Middleton.

Lady Diana Spencer chose it for her engagement to Prince Charles in 1981 from a selection presented to her by the then Crown jewellers Garrard of Mayfair. It cost £28,500 and Sapphires were one of the late Princess’s favourite gemstones.

Some commentators say she chose it because it reminded her of her mother’s engagement ring.

Now you too can ‘get the look’ at a fraction of the price with Goldsmith’s beautiful new engagement ring, set in carefully crafted 18ct white gold with a stunning sapphire surrounded by exquisite diamonds, with a total weight of 0.33ct.

This distinctive ring can be yours for just £999.

The Goldsmith’s Wedding Lines will be available in stores nationwide and online.
