I’ve always dreamed of an integrated TV and fridge! I think it’s originally an American trend that has caught on because of greater demand for space saving in modern kitchens.

The new Siemens coolMedia fridge offers a 17-inche wide HDTV integrated TV that displays a high contrast and high resolution picture in a 16:9 wide cinema format.  Hidden in the door are the slimline speakers.

The fridge itself is a top A+ energy rated fridge and is finished in a rather tasty combination of sophisticated black glass with silver metallic sides and rounded profile handle strips.

There are three separate zones – each with their own separate cooling system totalling a refrigeration capacity of 269 litres. But the really clever bit is the fact that it has a vitaFresh zone which features two sliding, telescopic drawers: a ‘wet’ drawer that maintains close to 0°C and up to 95% humidity for fruit & vegetables and a ‘dry’ drawer where the temperature is even cooler and the humidity never exceeds 50%, ensuring that meat, fish and cheese retain their freshness for much longer. Can a fridge really do any more!?

The dimensions are 190cms high and 60cms wide. The price is £2,100.
