If You are looking for a luxury Swiss watch, you need to widen your search to include these stunning pieces. Scottish Jewellers ROX are effortlessly current, exciting and oh so bang on trend. Now Rox are proud to announce the release of Welder K24, K25 and K29 series watches, designed by the Iconic Italo Fontana - creator of the timeless timepiece, The UBoat.

In 1942, the Italian Government commissioned Italo Fontana to design a watch to be used by the Navy. Fontana then concentrated on a watch that was big enough to be read instantly in any weather and light conditions - The UBoat watch was born.

From here, The Uboat watch has gone from strength to strength. Avid collectors of the original watches are joined by appreciators of the design and functionality, making the the original and new Uboat watches highly desireable.

The Welder is a new range designed by Fontana, and there are strong similarities to the U boat. The same strong character and rugged look give a nod to the war time original.

Each Welder watch now houses a Japanese quartz movement, for a functional reliability. Each model in the collection also comes with an extra strap and a watertight “toolbox”. Interchangeable faces will also appeal to the modern man.

These watches are a “proper” Man’s watch - indeed, If Action Man was real, A Welder would be on his wrist.

With Original and New U Boats going for large fees, the Welder gives us all the chance to own a Fontana original timepiece. I must admit, I have my eye on the watch below.
