If you have never heard of Poul Henningsen, you need to! He’s a very famous Dane that has brought us some of the most stunning architecture known to man.

This little beauty is known as the Artichoke and is a celebration of the man who created it 50 years ago. The recreation is glass and special technicians with many letters after their names are currently responsible for putting them together for a brand called Louis Poulsen.

Prices start from £12,000 - £18,000 dependent upon glass thickness.

Poul Henningsen’s pioneering work concerning the relations between light structures, shadows, glare, and color reproduction—compared to man’s need for light remains the fondation of the lighting theories still practiced by Louis Poulsen Lighting.
