New London Beatles Exhibition

Launched last Thursday by Sienna Miller, Grosvenor House, A JW Marriot Hotel is showcasing the debut of a new London Beatles exhibition - The Beatles Illuminated: The Discovered Works of Mike Mitchell.

A sale comprised of 50 lots of unpublished and never-before-seen photographs of the Beatles’ first hysteria-inducing visits to America in 1964 The exhibition is another culmination of the partnership between Christie’s and JW Marriott Hotels.

Shot in black and white by photographer Mike Mitchell when he was just 18 years old, the images have been filed away for nearly fifty years.

The collection will be open to the public, free of charge, at an exhibition at the hotel between 17th June and 25th June.  The images will then be offered at auction in New York on 20th July.
In celebration of this unique occasion, Grosvenor House has created a fantastic package, a must-have experience for all Beatles fans and the perfect opportunity to visit the collection in style. Grosvenor House is offering a one night stay in a superior room with a full English breakfast. This ultimate Beatles package will be priced at from £459 per night excluding VAT, based on one nights stay. This includes one nights accommodation in a superior room, English breakfast daily for two, entrance to the ‘The Beatles Illuminated: the Discovered Works of Mike Mitchell’ and a guided Beatles Walking Tour of London. The package also includes a souvenir of the book ‘Grosvenor House: The Inheritance and The People’. The Beatles package will be available 16th-25th June 2011.
