If you’re a fancier of sheep (in a professional context I hasten to add), you might be able to appreciate the finer points of a fine ram….

But I have to admit to a certain puzzlement at the news of a record price of £231,000 ($392,000 approx) being paid for Deveronvale Perfection a prize winning sheep.

Would you by a Ferrari or sheep? Sheep Ferrari? Ferrari sheep? Umm tricky one…....!

Named Deveronvale Perfection, the lucky ram is earmarked for some high level breeding, which goes someway to explaining the stud price paid.

I just hope that when he is asked to perform he comes through for the owner…..

Enough with the double entendre already…..

Anyway we wish the most expensive sheep and his owner the best of luck. Here’s hoping there’s lead in that there pencil !!!
