Somewhere that might be ideal for a Billionaire Russian Oligarch pining for home might be Bob Bob Ricard based in London’s Upper James Street.

The Venue is attempting to fuse traditional Edwardian surroundings with Russian dishes, including Siberian Pelmeni and Vareniki – traditional Russian dumplings wrapped in thin unleavened dough with a variety of fillings.
Other dishes include Jellied Ox Tongue with Horseradish sauce (umm not sure about that one) or Russian Herring, all washed down by a shot of well-chilled vodka served at a gratifying -18C.
The introduction of the Russian selection – at the suggestion of BBR’s Russian owner, Leonid Shutov – was overseen by Executive Head Chef, James Walker who says:
“Bob Bob Ricard is all about creating people’s favourite comfort foods using the finest ingredients; an approach that
works just as well for our new range of quintessentially Russian dishes. It has taken many tastings and amendments to
make sure our Russian menu is as authentic as possible.”
