With Christmas but a breath away, I thought these beautifully hand carved rocking horses would be of interest.

With the far East mass production of childrens toys that have totally flooded the market, it’s refreshing to see something created for Children that represents true quality and workmanship.
The Little Wooden Horse is made using sustainable rosewood; the leather is vegetable-tanned and hand-stitched by a master saddler.  The rocking horse’s artisans live in Peshawar, Pakistan and work together in a small, family-run cottage industry which has been making furniture for over 100 years.

This is a limited edition, rosewood rocking horse on a Georgian bow. A future family heirloom, an individually hand carved piece of art and the focus of any room

The horse also comes complete with a Time Capsule - for memorabilia and mementoes and personalisation is available with recipients/givers name placed on horse.

Both the saddle and bridle are fully adjustable and removable. It’s tough enough to withstand the most vigourous of play from child and Adult alike.

These wonderful carved rockers are available from mandoux.co.uk at £850, which includes UK mainland delivery.

Watch out for the equally excellent carved camels, planned for April and priced at £1,000.  They are slightly larger and heavier than the horses and are sure to delight just about everyone.
