The most exclusive Grande Champagne Cognac in the world, Louis XIII, has created a brand new coffret for 2009 which has been specifically designed to display its elegant beauty to the world.

The beautiful coffret was inspired by the Art Deco movement and features hand-crafted red imitation leather and a dark wood case with a multifaceted mirror inside.  It is designed to slide open and reveal the baroque crystal decanter inside, reflecting the amber spirit and the iconic fleur-de-lys stopper presenting the Cognac in all its glory!  Guests to your home would cast envious eyes upon it!

The 100 year old Louis XIII has been carefully tended to by four generations of cellar masters, using only grapes from the Grande Champagne area in the heart of the Cognac Region.  The end result is a blend of gorgeous flavours from passion fruit and honeysuckle to aromatic nutmeg and ginger – heaven to a Cognac follower!

Available at Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Harrods fans of Louis XIII include Winston Churchill, who celebrated his victory with it in 1951, Elton John and Jamie Foxx.  It must be rather special for the celebrities to favour this cognac, and at £1,500 (RRP) I can see why.  A hefty price for the well known Grande Champagne Cognac!
