“On 8 March 2008, a blend of the UK’s top chefs, restaurateurs and sommeliers will team up at leading London restaurant, 1 Lombard Street in a bid to turn wine into water for thousands of malnourished children and families around the world.

A brigade of Michelin starred chefs including Raymond Blanc (Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons), Shane Osborn (Pied á Terre), John Campbell (The Vineyard) and Herbert Berger (1 Lombard Street) will join forces with renowned sommeliers and wine experts to produce a unique four-course dinner followed by an exclusive fine wine auction in aid of humanitarian charity Action Against Hunger.”
