Last year the iconic logo featured on every Johnnie Walker bottle turned 100 years old and to celebrate the centenary they’ve launched five collections, including five exclusive bottles, each hand engraved with its trademark slanted label and a Striding Man design from the last 100 years.

Featuring versions of the Striding Man created between 1908 and 1999, individually numbered and containing a blend of some of the world’s rarest whiskies, these rare bottles crafted by artisan glassworkers are therefore highly collectable.

Two bottles celebrate the long association between Johnnie Walker and sport.  In one, the Striding Man appears in shirtsleeves complete with cricket bat; in a second, he heads for the links in an Ulster coat.  This Johnnie Walker Blue Label collection also shows how Browne’s creation has changed with the times. In 1999, designer Michael Peters transformed the motif into an elegant and contemporary silhouette with a change in direction to walk purposefully from left to right.

Just five of the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Striding Man Collection are available from the whiskyexchange.com priced at £2,000 a piece.
