For the marmalade connoisseur there is now a product that will blow your mind. But at £5000 per jar you probably don’t want to spread it that liberally over your morning toast.
Produced by F Duerr & Son’s the Fine Cut Seville Orange Marmalade incorporates hints of the world’s most expensive Whisky, vintage Champagne and even Gold. Each sticky portion is liable to set you back around £76 per slice of toast.
The marmalade has been produced to commemorate Duerr’s 125th birthday. Specific ingredients include:
A rare Dalmore 62-year-old malt whisky which sells at £32,000 per bottle.
Exclusive vintage champagne by Pol Roger, the Cuvee Winston Churchill 1996 supplied by Vineyards of France.
Richard Duerr, Sales and Marketing Director at Duerr’s, says: “We have been creating marmalade for 125 years and decided to do something extra special for our anniversary. Thanks to some exclusive ingredients and a priceless one-off designer jar we believe that we have created the world’s most expensive jar of marmalade.”
