From Today until 16th July, Outline Editions on Berwick Street, Soho are hosting the ‘Godfather of the graphic art scene’ Anthony Burrill’s affordable art show, entitled ‘Clear Your Head Every Day’.

As you may know, Anthony Burrill was the Artist in Residence at the recent Pick me Up graphic fair and is best known for his slogan prints including ‘Work hard be nice to people’ and ‘You Know More Than You Think’.

Everything is for sale with prices from £30 - £300 and much of the work is exclusive to the gallery, so there are some great collectible bargains to be had from the UK’s leading graphic artist.

‘Clear Your Head Every Day’ will include a collection of 50 new, small-scale giclees and neon artworks created exclusively for the show, as well as collaborations with both internationally acclaimed furniture designer Michael Marriott and the sculptor WilfrId Wood.

There will be live workshops taking place and the gallery space and windows will be re-designed by Burrill and Marriott for the show; each piece will be for sale

Burrill says, ‘Clear Your Head Every Day’ is a show very much in the spirit of an open studio following on from Pick Me Up.  Everything shown is based around a theme of positivity and as the title suggests, is about an antidote to stressful, city life’.

Burrill’s up-beat work has been commissioned by everyone from Tate Modern to Colette in Paris and his prints have become mantras for the design community and beyond.

Burrill regularly collaborates with musicians and animators to make films, music promos and animations. He recently created a series of posters with political messages for the British Library and has produced adverts for London Underground and the Economist.
