If you’re a high end consumer with an eco conscience you might want to take a look at Belgrave Trust.

The idea is to take your high octane luxury lifestyle (private jets, super cars etc) and offset it in a properly accountable way. An admirable aim.

Based in New York, Belgrave Trust say:

“Those of us in the top 20% of the world’s affluent are responsible for over 80% of the world’s carbon emissions, and tackling global warming is a responsibility that falls first to the most privileged among us: those that are traditionally relied upon for leadership in times of crisis.”

No idea how exactly this works, but I think such a worthy cause merits consideration. Take a look for yourselves: Belgrave Trust.
