We recently taste tested a variety of sparkling wines alongside Champagne brands - and it was surprising how evenly matched they were.
Nonetheless, there is a certain cachet with Champagne branding. That’s certainly the case with this beautifully constructed Bollinger gift box.
Named the Bollinger champagne Octagonal Gift Box Limited Edition - with ice bucket, this is something that is likely to impress as a gift, particularly when there are only 1000 of these worldwide. The retail price is £274.95 ( $412 approx) but I wouldn’t mind betting that if kept pristine, this might be worth a tidy sum in a few years down the road.
