The Aquada Car could just be what all James Bond enthusiasts have been dreaming of. A genuine car that will convert to a boat in a blistering 12 seconds.

Gibbs Technologies are the brains behind the Aquada which first made an appearance in 2003. It then made waves in the news when Richard Branson,  used the Aquada to traverse the English Channel in 2004. He achieved a record breaking 1 hour 40 minutes for the crossing.

The High Speed Amphibian (HSA) technology on which it is based will hopefully be licensed soon, with the car finally coming to market for £150,000 ($295,110).

Anybody taking the plunge can expect to achieve a maximum road speed of over 100 mph on land and a water speed of around 30 mph.
