The London based Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich is thought to be investing £150 million ($296 million) in a UK residence that would make it the most expensive in that country.

The most expensive home in the UK will be located in Knightsbridge and will include eight floors, a cinema, swimming pool, steam room and lots of other luxury goodies

Updown Court was a previous contender for the most expensive home in the UK. Will Mr Abramovich’s Lowndes Square property match up? Time will tell....
