$18 Million Dollar Rothschild Faberge Egg

Fancy an $18 million (£9 million) dollar egg for your breakfast? Ok so it’s not edible, but this delectable pink Faberge egg is likely to brighten up anybody’s morning.

Just to keep you posted on the hour, a diamond encrusted cockeral pops up,  gives a few nods, crows and then disappears again. The egg is known to be an engagement gift to Germaine Halpien and Baron Edouard de Rothschild in 1902

Due for public auction at Christies on November 28, it is likely to break all records for a Russian piece of Artwork.
