No, you haven’t read that wrong… £8.50 GBP for an ounce of Nona Nigari water. Found 2,000 feet down off the coast of Hawaii, this is a seawater mineral concentrate that should be mixed with regular water.

As you would exect the Japanese are mad for it and are keeping Hawaii Deep marine very busy, and they are not going to run out any time soon! 80,000 bottles go to japan every day.

Is I actually condensed fish wee?

Who knows but thedemand is fueled by a variety of health claims none of which have been medically proven to date. High in minerals this water is supposidly clear of all contaminents and as pure as you can get.

Water is water right?!

NO! There’s Evian then there’s Aquabar, the most exclusive water delivery service to the rich and famous in the world. These guys are the first to develop a product and luxury experience when it comes to drinking water. The company currently services the glitterati of LA but are making plans for world domination. As well as water, the company are introducing luxury ice cubes in April 2007.

“We believe consumers are seeking a broader, healthier selection of products than what is currently being offered at their local grocer, gourmet retailer or hotel and spa of choice. We’ve notice a huge shift in the market; a dramatic change in attitude toward unhealthy beverage products, specifically within upscale establishments (four and five star hotel, etc.) who are switching over from soda and other unhealthy beverages to healthier products such as water, juice and tea. These companies are responding to their patrons and guests, who seek more variety and a healthier beverage alternative. Because this change has been identified within the luxury hospitality market, we believe the same demographic that frequents these establishments would appreciate having our products, which they so enjoyed during the vacation or stay away from home, in the comforts of their own homes,” says Jason Boarde, founder of AquaBar, Inc.

Speed may not be everything when it comes to luxury. But if you’ve got the ultimate yacht you’re going to need the ultimate Jetski! With a top speed of 70 mph the Seadoo RXP is undoubtedly nimble if a little scary for the novice.

image

Billed as the most powerful two seater craft on the market Seadoo describe it as follows:

“There are those content to watch the world go by. On the RXP, the world watches you go by. With 215 horses, race-bred handling and an electric Variable Trim System, it’s no wonder the RXP has dominated the Musclecraft Shootout for two years running. And when the sun bounces off the sleek chrome details, the only question is whether the human head can turn fast enough.”

Undoubtedly a great machine but I think my money would be with something a little more sedate.

Luxury Jetski’s are usually the sole domain of the prominent Japanese manufacturers. However, there may now be a European made challenger - the Hydrospace S4. This Jetski incorporates easy handling and a smoother ride than rivals, all for a snip at £7,995 ($12,800).

Hydrospace say:

“The racy sound of its 4-stroke two-cylinder engine gives it the superiority that others have long been looking for.
With its power of 81 KW (110 HP) the S4 has a strong torque and fulfils all environmental criteria at the same time
Its load capacity and power reserves are outstanding.
The motor is carefully being fit together by hand in our factory.
When first put to the test it has to prove its stability. If it doesn’t stand the test, it won’t be installed. Because then it wouldn’t come up to our expectations.
That’s the basic requirement of our work coupled with a well-balanced, harmonious design.”

Lussorian’s recommended Jetski purchase has got to be the Yamaha FX Cruiser which retails for £10,500 ($16,500).
