If you have ever wanted to own a diamond encrusted iPod - then you should have made your way to London for the auction of what was billed as the world’s most expensive MP3 player.

Created by Norweigian jeweller Thomas Heyderdahl, this iPod shuffle incorporates ear plugs made from solid 18 carat white and pink gold and encrusted with 430 diamonds.

It is estimated to have a value of around £20,000 ($40,000) and was one of many items that went under the hammer at the Feast of Albion fundraising dinner at London’s Guildhall.

The Rex Bar has got to be the most exclusive club to hire. It’s in London’s Soho and it certainly has everything you could ever possibly dream for:

The lounge bar itself is 1930’s style with art nouveau influences. Plush velvets, crystal chandeliers, comfortable Sofas and leather armchairs create a decadent atmosphere while lots of candles, warm colours and Mirrors give the venue a special magical glow.

Not only do they have a 3am licence but we are just about the only private members’ club to have its own dance floor. Our unpretentious DJs and bar staff serve up funky tunes and fabulous cocktails, in a club where you can choose to bust a move on the dance floor, chat amongst friends or discuss plot lines after a movie in decadent surroundings rather than feeling inescapably trapped in a monosyllabic meat market.

Due to its exclusive nature The Rex infamous club nights have already been discovered by celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Emma Bunton, Rachel Stevens, Amanda Holden, All Saints….

So if you are thinking of celebrating a birthday party, engagement party, anniversary, going away party, celebrating the birth of your newborn, after party drinks, Christmas party or any other reason for debauchery then look no further. The Rex resembles all these things.

The Rex also plays host to London’s most luscious late nights featuring live music and top DJ’s.

I don’t know how much it is to hire - I’m afraid to ask!!!

It’s officially THE most expensive MP3 player in the World today, the Lorsch 18 carat gold bad boy, adorned with 63 diamonds!

image

It’s got 1GB of space a stereo FM radio and integrated voice recorder. It also carries a price tag of around £10,000.

Why you would want this is beyond me, but with loads of Paris Hilton wannabes in the world today, no doubt it will prove nice gift idea for some lucky teenager (who’ll probably lose it anyway!)
