We’ve mentioned the stunning Updown Court here and broke the story that it will be featured in the Guinness Book of Records as the most expensive new build residence.

However, there is a residence out there which comes close in terms of pure luxury. Donald Trump’s $125 million house on Palm Beach really is quite breathtaking to behold. Mentioned on Forbes.com, the house was purchased in 2004 by Trump from former health care executive Abe Gosman at bankruptcy auction for $41.25 million. The refurbished version is now complete with a ballroom, conservatory, 100-foot-long swimming pool and 475 feet of oceanfront. It is apparently listed with Dolly Lenz and Geoff Thomas at Prudential Douglas Elliman.
