A kind hearted Japanese real estate tycoon is letting out 8 luxury $3.4m homes to Hawaii’s poor. Yes, that’s right he’s selecting 8 lucky families to rent the houses off him for a generous $150 a month!!
The developments are situated in the exclusive Honolulu Oceanside area.
“They will be living in heaven now,” said Genshiro Kawamoto, 75, a real estate tycoon. Among Mr Kawamoto’s four rental homes is one with five bedrooms. The 603 square metre (6,489 sq ft) home was built in 1989 and is more than three times bigger than the average house on Oahu. Mr Kawamoto bought it in August 2005 for $3.4m.
This character rich Georgian house situated on Wimpole Street, Central London, was once used by both Sir Paul McCartney and John Lennon while drafting such classics as Eleanor Rigby and I Wanna Hold Your Hand.
