Yesterday, we reviewed the Culloden Estate in Belfast, a fabulous 5 star hotel, which deserved the praise it received. By no means are we taking anything away, but, like I said, sometimes less is more.

The apartments have an abundance of Victorian character such as lovely high ceilings and wonderful elongated sash windows, even so they are thoroughly up to date with all mod cons. It truly was a wonderful contrast to staying in bustling, unfriendly hotels.
Both of the staff we met (Peter and Ben) were effortlessly charming; they gave us information when requested, booked taxis, and were just genuinely wanting to please.
