The Italians are possibly the most passionate about Formula 1 racing, perhaps this is why Itlian designer Eero Aarnio designed the Formula Chair.
He’s renown for his furniture being used in international films, music videos and fashion shoots. And you can pick one of these beauties up for around £1,500 – and you get a huge choice of colours.
Aarnio: “When looking at a Formula1 race car from above there are two very wide ‘armrests’ on either side of the driver, and looking from the side there is a high headrest. When you take out the wheels, what is left is clearly a FORMULA Chair and they both move about although the car is faster.”

Finding such a stunning collection of designer furnishings is rare. Stumbling across Sand & Birch based in Italy has just about made my day. Their furniture is truly unique and I WANT IT ALL!
Here’s probably the most interesting object, the LU. It’s a seat if you were guessing with a metallic structure, polyurethane inside, covered with Alcantara.
The designers behind Sand & Birch began to focus on shapes and design, devoting their efforts mainly to take other natures, hidden or sacrificed for the production demands, out of ordinary objects.

Ladies, we know how much you love stylish shoes, but here’s something that you can store them in which is equally as stylish. It’s created by a Swiss design house called Yuniic Design and it wouldn’t surprise me if you see Ikea knocking out a cheap imitation soon!
The console is leaned to the wall and does not need any wall fastening. The combination of the materials wood and metal appears contemporary and functional. The object is suited also for narrow corridors and provides space for up to 12 pairs of shoes.
