It weights 6kg and thanks to the price of gold coming down recently (due to global demand.. or lack of it!) you can pick it up for an inflation beating price!

If you want your children to have the ultimate fantasy bedroom you might want to enlist the help of Hollywood interior designer Kimberley Cohu, who will be imminently opening her UK-based online store MumSaid.
Kimberley’s previous Los Angeles store, Feathered Nest, was called “Hollywood’s best-kept secret” by E TV. Her custom made furnishings and warm interior design work featured in the homes of Johnny Depp, Melanie Griffiths & Antonio Banderas, Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee, Prince, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Ben Affleck to name a few. Her work on the home of Oscar-winning film producer Lawrence Bender (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, An Inconvenient Truth) featured in the prestigious Architectural Digest. She recently worked on Robert De Niro’s new Boutique Hotel which has just opened in Tribeca.
Not a bad pedigree ehhh….. and Kimberley is looking to replicate her success on the other side of the pond by offering a taste of luxury with MumSaid. The new online store will be showcasing imported hand made and painted nursery furniture with designs for the whimsical to classic elegant baby and child, luxury bedding and indulgent accessories for mothers and tiny tots.
The aim of MumSaid is to become the one-stop online shop for the luxury nursery market. We’ll be watching with interest to see what delights Kimberley will be offering.
Set in the heart of London’s exclusive Mayfair district is the rather delightful Dorchester Hotel. This hotel is 5 stars all the way and is adorned with beautiful furnishings and incredibly polite staff. After a delightful cocktail at the bar we were taken to our table in the highly renowned Alain Ducasse restaurant which had been designed by Patrick Jouin.
Let’s spend a second on the design… it’s beautiful! Taking inspiration from Hyde Park opposite, Jouin has created an atmosphere that can only be described as tranquil. Using a mixture of greens, browns and creams combined with some extraordinary shapes, the entire restaurant oozes sophistication and class from the moment you enter its domain. The restaurant itself offers three areas of private dining, one of which is a truly ingenious centre stage within a fibre optic curtain that changes colour… it has to be seen to be truly appreciated.
Now to the service… as you’d expect with French dining the staff are incredibly professional and courteous. Not for one moment will your glass be left empty or your taste buds craving, the entire experience is just one of those things that has to be experienced to be enjoyed.
The WaterRower is a unique rowing machine because its simulation is so close to the real thing!
Thanks to its unique WaterflyWheel technology the WaterRower provides a much smoother rowing experience, compared to traditional rowing machines that can often be mechanical and jerky. WaterRower also offers an interactive online rowing site that allows you to train alone or race against others from the comfort of your own home.
The brand has also recently launched a new bespoke service, so you can colour match your machine to your décor… how cool is that!
