It has been 60 years to the day since The Queen’s accession and to mark the Diamond Jubilee, John Walker & sons have created something rather special.

The Luxury Diamond Jubilee Whiskey by John Walker & Sons will today become one of the world’s rarest whiskys. Only 60 editions will be released for sale worldwide, with each bottle worth £100,000.

Diamond Jubilee has been maturing for 60 years, it is a specially crafted blend of rare malt and grain Scotch Whiskies.

In strengthening the connection to HM further, the final, traditional step of marrying has been carried out in casks made by the John Walker & Sons coopers using oak provided by kind permission of The Queen from her private Sandringham Estate.

More than 60 (yep, there’s a theme here….60!) artisans have been involved in producing this very special whisky including QEST scholars.

The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust is the charitable arm of the Royal Warrant Holders Association that preserves rare craft and conservation skills.

John Walker & Sons have pledged that £1,000,000 of the sales of Diamond Jubilee will be donated to QEST.

Other supreme craftsmanship in evidence here can be seen in the form of Baccarat Crystal. The multi-faceted, diamond-shaped decanter which rests on a crystal stand has six radial legs, each one reflecting a decade of The Queen’s enduring reign.

Hamilton & Inches, Scotland’s leading jeweller and silversmiths have been responsible for a Britannia silver decanter collar set with a half-carat diamond, a John Walker & Sons Ltd Royal Warrant and entwined JW&S monogram to adorn the crystal, and a silver transit stopper.

Cumbria Crystal, the only maker of English full lead crystal, have created a bespoke lead crystal glass, cut with six main facets to mark six decades of The Queen’s reign and with the John Walker & Sons monogram engraved in the base.

The Diamond Jubilee whisky from john Walker & Sons is a truly special whisky, made using the finest ingredients and craftsmanship.

Whisky fit for a Queen!

In the year in question, the talented master-saddler Frederick Krolle, founded his workshop near London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral. Tanner Krolle’s origins coincided with the hay day of the railway and the Grand Tour with the aim of providing travellers with a sophisticated range of handcrafted luggage. Ceyda Gungor is one of the many women who have been impacted by neonatal complications making the Winnicott Foundation something that is very close to her heart.

Jada will be donating fifteen per cent of each sale of this charity jewellery.

Pippa Jones of the Winnicott Foundation says;

“The sale of one white gold heart bracelet could buy specialist clothing for four premature babies or information books and leaflets for parents. Just one diamond bracelet could buy five handheld breast pumps or three gel pillows to reduce pressure on fragile heads.”

There has never been a better opportunity to give back to the community and with one of these beautiful Jada charity jewellery bracelets you can lovingly invest in the well-being of future generations to come.

Luxury Mayfair restaurant Le Caprice have recently celebrated their 30th Anniversary and to mark the occasion they have partnered with leading music personalities to create an exclusive collector’s edition music book.

The centrepiece of Le Caprice (apart from the food!) is the piano, the collection of sheet music features classic songs for the piano. The music book is a little bit special.

Only 200 copies have been printed and will sold at Le Caprice for £200 each. Proceeds will go to War Child, a charity long associated with the music industry.

Le Caprice has partnered with leading music personalities to create this exclusive collector’s edition music book. Along with an introduction from Jools Holland, artists including Sir Paul McCartney, Gary Barlow, Coldplay and Skin have each chosen a favourite classic song that has been scored for the piano to add to the music book.

“In my life I have been very fortunate as music has fascinated and brought me more joy than almost anything. I hope this book may do the same for you… play what you love, love what you play and love the people you’re playing it to.” – Jools Holland.

To celebrate the success of the restaurant over the last three decades, Le Caprice has undergone a design refresh. The update honours the restaurant’s signature style with a black marble floor, new windows and pristine, re-imagined bar.

The timeless monochrome interior has been maintained, along with such elements as the timeless David Bailey photographs adorning the walls. Additionally, a terrace has been added for guests to enjoy alfresco dining in the bustling centre of St James’s.

Jesus Adorno, Director of Le Caprice, comments: “I’ve been at Le Caprice for 30 years, starting out as a waiter. The restaurant seems to evoke passion amongst both its staff and customers. I’ve witnessed first dates to marriage proposals to golden wedding anniversaries. The first 30 years have been remarkable – here’s to the next 30!”
