Innovations like this towel rail holder can really make all the difference in making your home truly luxurious.

Aesthetically it’s smooth lines ooze quality and sophisticated design. Dough Heat say:
“Striking in its design, aroma has a subtle flowing profile. As its name suggests, aroma features an aromatherapy heated pool, which creates an ambience for a relaxing bathroom experience.
Towels that are in use can be placed and dried at both sides of the product through the heated side apertures. The sculptural, relaxed form of aroma allows rolled up bath towels to be stored and aired ready for use.
Although aroma looks effortless, the technology within the product is an advancement in heated towel rail innovation. Its fully electric, localised heat gives efficiency where it’s needed. The only hint of this technology is shown where the user interacts with the product, with its machined pop-out temperature control knob.”

This bath/hammock is quite a nice concept, combining two of the most relaxing ways to spend time horizontal. Aesthetically it looks pretty pleasing too. But how practical is it?

The bath is constructed of polyurethene and steel frame, but surprisingly it offers flexibility that moulds to the shape of the body. That’s got to make it amazingly comfortable!
The tub itself is suspended between two elegant stainless steel poles that also feed the water and provide a perch for soap and shampoo.
I just hope this concept lasts the distance as it could just be a real winner.

Quite frankly luxury toilet paper is a bit of gimmick in my view. As long as it’s soft, strong and thoroughly absorbent then you’re really not going to be bothered about whether your toilet paper has gold leaf or fancy coloured decoration on it. After all, it’s all heading down the pan at the end of the day!

Nonetheless, Renova believe there is a market for luxury toilet paper and have produced a line in paper rolls that come in four different colours.
Retailing at $13 to $20 for a three pack they are said to offer a “soft and silky experience”.
Am I missing the point here?

I have been looking for a while now to feature a luxury bathroom design service. There doesn’t seem to be that many of them out there for some reason. So I was quite pleased to spot Ripples who have apparently been around since 1988.
According to their web site they have been honoured with various awards that quite frankly mean nothing to me. But what really caught my eye is the sleek modern look of their designs. Take a look at this one:

Tasteful, modern, spacious and luxurious personified.
According to a recent feature in the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper, Ripples are also offering new Jacuzzi Morphosis whirlpool baths. Great name for a bath!
“The collection features beautiful organic lines and contours and therapeutic lighting. With four jets and additional rotating back jets, the baths are designed to stimulate and satisfy all the senses. The futuristic system has electronic controls to adjust the intensity of the whirlpool, allowing you to tailor the water massage to your individual needs. Prices start at £6,495.”
