Ovens… not sexy right? WRONG...!
I learnt about this recently, La Cornue’s Château cooker costing £15,000 ($30,000) and designed in this stunningly garish Provence yellow enamel, with a nickel and satin stainless steel trim – IT WORKS FOR SOME STRANGE REASON!
All the products in the Château cooker range are built to order and there are only about a few hundred cookers manufactured and distributed around the world making especially desirable.
Trims for Château ovens are available in brass, copper, chrome or nickel and in a palette of twenty three enamel colours and a stainless steel or copper body. The best bit is that you can even customise your own Château oven with a personal touch and design your own custom colour or decorations.
