Trinity House Paintings is an international art dealership specialising in Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, Modern British and 19th century works, based in New York, London and Gloucestershire.
Trinity House Paintings, will unveil Claude Monet’s ‘Waterloo Bridge’ at the private view of their New York gallery opening and inaugural exhibition. The ‘From Constable to Cézanne Inaugural Exhibition’ is to be held on October 19, 2011, 6:30-9:00 PM at 24 East 64th Street.
The New York Gallery opening with such a piece links back to their English counterparts in a suitably impressive way.

Monet created ‘Waterloo Bridge’ in 1901 and is one of only 26 pastels of the River Thames to survive from this period and the only example currently available on the open market.
A nice back story to the piece is that Monet always wished to paint this landmark, but due to missing luggage, his paints, brushes and canvases never followed him to the Savoy hotel.
Instead, he had to resort to pastels. I think he got away with it OK…
To give you an idea of how exceptional this piece is, all other pastels of London by Monet are held in museum collections.
The exhibition will also feature a selection of important British paintings by John Constable, Sir Edwin Henry Landseer, Alfred Munnings and a work by George Stubbs once owned by the great American art collector, Paul Mellon.
Alongside the Monet, there will be other Impressionist and Post-impressionist artists such as Paul Cézanne, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot and Eugène Boudin.
The Kotoli Giftbox launches at Masterpiece London 2011.

Maison Ruinart has collaborated with esteemed Japanese design house, Studio Nendo, to create The Kotoli Giftbox and the finished piece is simply beautiful.
As well as a bottle of Blanc de Blancs champagne in the box, Nendo has designed two beautiful champagne flutes and a delicate bottle stopper which doubles up as champagne flute holder.
Ruinart is the sole champagne partner for Masterpiece London 2011; a collection of the finest arts and design exhibits and luxury brands. This year’s exhibition runs from 30th June – 5th July, with a preview on 29th June.
Ruinart will be serving its signature cuvée Blanc de Blancs by the glass at all dining outlets at Masterpiece London – Le Caprice, Harry’s Bar and Mount Street Deli.
Kotoli is a wooden gift box that draws its inspiration both from architecture and the geometrical sculptures of designer, Kiichi Sumikawa. Kotoli is Japanese for ‘small bird’ and reflects its name with a perch-shaped stopper.
Make sure you head down to London’s Masterpiece fair to see The Kotoli giftbox and much, much more.
London’s Opera Gallery are at it again, tearing up the rule book and leading the way in the Art world.
Last week, saw the gallery host a live street art performance, featuring Lussorian favourite Rich Simmons.

Simmons famously created his mural of the Queen as a Graffiti artist, which was perfect in time for the Royal Wedding.
Many high profile figures made it to the live street art performance, including Olivia Grant (actress), Raful Gajjar (Saatchi Gallery Director), Vangelis Kassotakis (Marketing Director for Cartier) and the incredible Alexander Talbot Rice who has painted portraits for everyone including Margaret Thatcher and the most recent Pope!
Rich Simmons piece is on display until 30th June and is joined by Street Art’s most prolific artists.
There is Graffiti and then there’s Street Art. This fantastic exhibition is the latter to the highest of extremes.
It’s fair to say that Simmons now joins the Street Art elite along with Banksy and Blek Le Rat. Catch his latest piece at the Opera Gallery while you can.
