I wonder how you would refer to The Cove at Lamorna after spending a week relaxing there?

Their website says “self catering apartments” but I really don’t think that does it any justice at all.  It’s not a hotel either and doesn’t feel like one.  Think of this place as; the pad you always wanted to have, but without any of hassle of owning.

The apartments…
Apartment 15 - where we stayed - is on the top floor of this renovated complex which climbs the valley wall and although you enter from what feels like ground level by the time you cross the lounge and step through the big glass doors to your private balcony beyond you must be five floors up above the converted church below.  The world simply drops before you giving you a clear view down the valley to the coast and to Lizard Point some 17 miles away across the water.

Britain’s exclusive importer of Leroux-Mineau Champagne has announced the launch of their new range, which includes a rather high quality Grand Cru Champagne at a very affordable price. Tom Ellis is the owner of the company and at 20 has certainly made his mark early on.

The current collection is perfect for any celebration and consists of single bottles of Blanc De Blancs (£50), Rosé (£60) and Premiere Vintage (£70) all presented in beautifully engraved, Maple boxes. In addition, the range is available by the case of six bottles; Blanc De Blancs (£115) or Rosé (£150) and a mixed case consisting of three bottles of each (£132.50), all prices include VAT & free delivery. A bottle of Blanc de Blanc works out at just £19 per bottle when bought by the case, which is exceptional value for Grand Cru Champagne and even more appealing considering the current recession.

We’ve had a rather exclusive sneaky peak at a new boutique hotel set to open in September 2009. It’s called ‘The Scarlet’ and is positioned on a spectacular cliff top site in Mawgan Porth, Newquay.

It’s not only going to become one of Cornwall’s premier luxury hotels, but it’s also Cornwall’s first eco hotel. It’s currently undergoing development work which will ultimately see it boast 37 bedrooms and suites featuring private gardens and balconies, a destination restaurant, bar and Ayurvedic spa, as well as unique features such as outdoor log fired hot tubs and a natural reed-bed swimming pool.
