Knowing fine wine is an art, but apparently so is opening it. A Belgian dude called Frank Sveid has just designed and created what is the most expensive corkscrew on the planet at £36,000 – That equates to 3,600 bottles of good quality plonk!
I guess for the wine connoisseur who owns every gadget under the sun then this may be worth taking a mortgage out for!
The item itself works just like a normal corkscrew (it opens a bottle) but the difference lies in the build and quality as you’d expect. It’s handcrafted t order and made out of titanium and gold and constructed of 52 pieces of aviation titanium, including a lead cap cutter and the actual screw, and comes in its own cigar-like presentation box.
The lever is made out of 18-carat gold or platinum on request.

This 4 person spa holds 860 litres of water and features an air massage system, as you would expect from any good spa. It has a quick heating system that plugs into a standard UK 240V socket and heats the water to 40 degrees C, as well as a clean filtering system to keep the water fresh. The water is pushed through 80 turbo massage jets, providing a wonderfully warm and relaxing experience. Dubai have come up with another eye catching development to add to their burgeoning tourist offering. It comes in the form of a new $1 billion Jurassic theme park called Restless Planet. The park will include 109 animatronic dinosaurs from over 40 species, all to be housed in a 500,000 square foot (46,000 square metre) area. The park will be part of a large entertainment and business development called City of Arabia.
The Restless Planet will be brought to life with the help of Natural History Museum of London, acclaimed dinosaur authority Jack Horner and Tokyo based animatronics team Kokoro. All the exhibits will be enclosed in a vast 75 metre dome.
Billed as the first of it’s kind, this place is sure to wow visitors in a big way…
