High-end personal plant design service Leaf-it-at-home, has come up with something rather different this Christmas. They’re offering a gift that seems to be the only one of its kind. Their Christmas gift voucher (£275) gives the lucky recipient the chance to experience an ‘interior landscaping makeover’ in their very own home.

This involves a personal design consultation with an experienced plant designer at their home, as well as a bespoke planting plan and pictorial summary of the design plan that they conjure up. They also get a £100 voucher to be spent on plants. The voucher is enclosed in a tasteful presentation gift box so that your loved one has something to unwrap on the big day, and it comes with a luxurious banana fibre notebook so that they can start jotting down their initial ideas. It’s certainly a bit different to your average gift! Leaf-it-at-home is the UK’s leading interior plant design company, offering a personal interior landscaping service.

The company’s experienced designers can create luxury and focal points in a single room, a studio flat to a house or castle! Stunning plants have never been so accessible. For clients it’s a hassle free service! Vouchers must be ordered before December 16th 2008 to arrive in time for Christmas.

The big question is how will the credit crunch affect real estate markets outside the traditional western economies. Dubai is a classic case in point.

Zaya, a UAE based luxury boutique real estate developer, recently announced the release of a limited number of additional units at it’s Nurai development on the opening day of Cityscape Dubai 2008. The news follows reports by leading investment houses and Abu Dhabi’s Department of Planning and Economy that show that the city’s real estate prices are almost certain to keep rising, at double digits, until 2012. Can this be true? I guess we’ll wait and see….

Zaya are very upbeat about their prospects after Nurai’s first launch in May 2008, which constituted 70% of the development’s units, and was sold out in less than a month.

The additional units being released include limited edition beachfront estates of 12,750 square feet which sit on generous plots, each with its own private beach, as well as luxury contemporary water villas of 5,540 square feet, which offer an unparalleled over-water living experience.
