If you’re a billionaire with a parchand for expensive guns then the Dottling Gun Cabinet is aesthetically perfect.

Aimed at Russian gunslinging oligarchs, this sumptuously beautiful cabinet was recently sold for $160,000 (£80,000).
In laid with marble and mahogany the cabinet is secured via an “ingenius double lock” before you reach the main lock. CEO Mark Dottling is quoted as saying “It’s extremely tricky”.
I think it’s safe to say that must be an understatement!
Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri’s most valuable and iconic painting, Warlugulong 1977, (lot 114, estimate £755,000-1,050,000) will be exhibited in London, 23-26 June, prior to auction with Sotheby’s in Australia. This painting is set to break Clifford Possum’s current record of £170,000 for Man’s Love Story 1993-1994, set by Sotheby’s in 2005, and to break the record for the most expensive work of Aboriginal art sold at auction: £438,000 for Emily Kame Kngwarreye’s Earth Creation.

Born in Anmatyerre lands in a dried-up creek bed, Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri became the most famous Aboriginal artist of his generation, he received the Order of Australia and was a guest of the Queen of England visiting Buckingham Palace (famously in morning suit and painted sand shoes). A major mid career survey of his paintings was exhibited at London’s Institute of Contemporary Art in 1998.

British company, Gibbs Technologies, has just launched it’s carboat called The Aquada and it’s getting a lot of press.
It’s got a 175 – horsepower engine that can get up to 100mph on land. The carboat can then retract its wheels in 13 seconds to become the water jet propelled powerboat that hits 30mph on seas.

I’m not sure what they cost, but rumor has it that an Aquada is between £50k - £100k, an absolute bargain when you consider you get 2 vehicles for the price of one.
If you are interested in buying one of these beauties then I suggest you visit the Gibbs website and fill in the form here.

Duxiana have a long pedigree of engineering sumptuously comfortable beds.
Their web site says:
“Since 1926 three generations of the Ljung family of Sweden have aspired to produce the most comfortable and technologically advanced beds on the market. For over 75 years we have studied ways to blend the science of sleep with the ultimate in comfort.
Our philosophy has always been that deep sleep can only be achieved through a full understanding of the needs of the human body.”
Their philosophy alone is something to marvel!
The cherry on the cake for this particular company was securing “Best Bed” at the Annual Wallpaper Awards for the luxurious Dux 7007. Retailing at £2,705 ($5000) it’s cheap at the price.
Do you love your vinyl and have a spare £150,000? Surely only the likes of Pete Tong, Judge Jules and Paul Oakenfield would want to snap one of these beauties up!
There are only 25 on the planet and that’s the way it is going to stay say manufacturer Goldmund.

The design itself is out of this world, and weighing in at 20kg his baby boasts:
• Machined to a hundredth of a millimeter
• Motor vibration-shielded by 15kg of brass
• Teflon-insulated signal-carring electronics
• It even has its own plinth
• Liquid nitrogen-rectified belt
