We love decanters at Lussorian. We’ve talked before about how a stylish decanter can really add some panache to a room. I’ll stick my neck on the line here and also say that buying a good quality decanter can ultimately become a wonderful investment. Yes you may have to wait a few decades but decanters can ultimately become wonderful objects to pass down the generations.
We particularly liked this one from Lalique Langeas which retails for $600 (£405) and is handmade by France’s finest glassblowers. Apparently the crystal has “unmatched purity with classic style etched detailing that complements the modern oval shape.

A stylish decanter can often add a touch of luxury to a living room or drawing room. I don’t personally drink a great deal anymore but the occasional tipple of Brandy or Port is still a lovely treat now and again. If it’s contained within a quality decanter then somehow it tastes even better.
I hadn’t heard of David Redman Amethyst decanters until only recently but they really are quite spectacular in my opinion. This one has wonderful deep purple coloured amethyst crystal that is hand crafted in a nostalgic tilt towards art deco design. Quite beautiful in my opinion. This one retails for $750 (£500).

Interesting to note that the prolific Michael Schumacher scoots round the planet in the eight person Falcon 2000 retailing at a cool $15 million (£10 million) plus undoubted extras for fit out, maintenance contracts etc etc.
Pretty essential piece of kit if your flitting from one grand prix to another I guess. This beautiful aircraft even has it’s own gym. How luxurious is that!
I wonder if Mr Schumacher ever takes this baby for spin?
I often have a problem when I invite people round to watch a big game, getting the position of my TV right. In fact I can’t reposition it at all! How useful would it be if you could move your plasma screen to different parts of the room. Pretty damn useful I would say.
